• The Reinvention Of A Classic – Thoughts on Cars (Singer 911)

“Why not create the ultimate 911? Let’s take the best engine, put it on the best chassis, get the best brakes on it, best, best, best, develop it properly, so it doesn’t feel like a Frankenstein car.” This is what Rob Dickensian said, and I agree with him. Why not?

And that was what the man did he had created what I like to call "PORSCHE 911: THE GRATEST HITS". He took one of the best car designs ever, put on a re-built 3.8L air cooled engine tuned by Cosworth, and attached a 6-speed G50 trans axle gearbox and limited slip differential, this combination gets 270hp in the ground and shoots the car from 0-60 mph in 3.9 sec, and it just stops when they are 170 mph in the speedometer.

To stop all of this power there are brembo discs and calipers, inside some 17” wheels that are a exact reproduction of the original Fuchs wheels from the 1960's. The rest of the car is practically original apart from the xenon headlights, carbon fiber panels and some other things...
Truly one of the best classic car remakings ever.

By the way, what about taking a look at Chris Harris's video review of this awesome machine?
